The first review of our recently released VC10 Professional - Standard, Super & RAF collection for P3D and FSX appears in the new issue of PC Pilot magazine (No. 122, July/August) and we were delighted to see it get the magazine's Classic Award with a score of 90/100.

Among other features, the reviewer complimented the aircraft sounds ("a high-quality soundset that captures the distinctive roar of the Conway engines perfectly"), the Flight Engineer's station ("highly functional") and the flight modelling ("the aircraft is stable and a joy to fly").

He concludes that VC10 Professional is "an excellent representation of an iconic British 1960s airliner with an authentic cockpit and complex systems, which is backed up by a realistic flight model."

The Demo area covers 500 sq km of the southern peninsula of the Lake District, from Barrow-in-Furness and Walney Island up to the first mountains - you can download it here.

There are more screenshots and all the details of the area covered on the Northern England page - we're planning to have this new NexGen 3D volume on sale in July!
