Updated software for our F28 Professional MSFS add-on is now available, providing a plethora of enhancements, new features, additional liveries and bug fixes.

The v1.2 update includes:

  • Completely reworked flight control system, including all three modes of flight control operation, to provide an even deeper level of simulation - see the new video posted on the F28 Professional page
  • Completely reworked landing gear and nose-wheel steering systems
  • New additions and improvements to the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB)
  • Two new liveries: Braathens S.A.F.E (F28-1000) and Linjeflyg (F28-4000)
  • Completely reworked model and texturing of the cabin crew panels in the forward galley with even more functionality added

When we tested Black Square's Analog Baron - Steam Gauge Overhaul add-on for MSFS we were amazed at the level of realism and systems fidelity which it provided, all the way from the cockpit systems and advanced failure mode to the numerous visual upgrades, custom sounds and upgraded instrumentation - it really is a remarkable upgrade to the aircraft.

We're pleased to see that PC Pilot magazine's reviewer was in full agreement in the new issue (No. 147, Sept/Oct 2023), giving this new add-on a Platinum Award and an impressive score of 96/100:

"The level of interior and systems modelling is made to an excellent standard and, combined with a detailed failure model, it easily rivals the most complex aircraft currently available for the Microsoft Flight Simulator platform.
