We are pleased to announce that Just Flight will be joining the National Videogame Museum’s Educational Partnership programme. This inspiring project will form part of the Museum’s mission to help students in primary, secondary further education and higher education develop a wide range of STEAM and vocational skills. From pixel art to building controllers, the Museum’s education offer has something for every part of the learner journey.

Through workshops with families, outreach activity and award-winning programmes with schools, the Museum supports and showcases routes into the games industry with its vocational work, seeking to inspire new people to make new kinds of games and explore the various pathways within the industry.

Speaking about joining the programme, Just Flight’s CEO Andy Payne OBE said: "This partnership is exactly what’s needed to help encourage and inspire the next generation of video game professionals. Just Flight and Just Trains are extremely proud to be able to help the National Videogame Museum carry out this important work.”

About The National Videogame Museum

The National Videogame Museum (NVM) is the UK’s only museum dedicated to videogame culture. NVM celebrates videogame history through over 100 playable exhibits including games consoles, arcade machines and other interactive experiences, including some designed exclusively for the Museum. The Museum cares for one of the UK’s largest collections of nearly 5,000 videogame objects, arcade machines, technology and game memorabilia, and has welcomed over 250,000 visitors, including hundreds of school visits, since it opened in Sheffield in 2018.

Presenting a mixture of permanent and temporary exhibitions, the Museum has also designed several award winning learning activities and has developed a suite of educational workshops (including pixel art and controller building) which aim to develop vital STEAM skills for educational trips and outreach projects in the wider community.
